Longstanding Epwin Window Systems’ fabricator Universal Trade Frames has added eight new trucks to its transport fleet to support its continued business growth. The brand-new Renault easiLoader trucks, form part of a 10-strong fleet of vehicles to further strengthen their busy nationwide customer schedules.
Commenting on the investment, Duncan Saunders, General Manager at Universal Trade Frames, said: “We needed to increase our fleet to support our customers with the rise in demand for our products. At the same time, we took the opportunity to replace some of the older vehicles that had become less economical to run. In today’s climate, it makes good business sense to invest in newer, modern vehicles that are better for the environment and are fuel efficient too.”
Since 1995, Universal Trade Frames has been manufacturing and supplying cutting-edge window and door products to the trade sector from its Shropshire-based headquarters. It manufactures the popular Spectus PVC-U window and door system and has partnered with Epwin Window Systems for 25 years. As an independent family-owned business, it is committed to delivering the best in product quality and to meeting the needs of its growing customer base.
Duncan said: We’ve seen exceptional demand for our products over the past two years and despite the challenges faced across our sector, we have continued to invest in the business to support our customers. The latest investment in our logistics division reflects our ongoing commitment to maintaining exceptional service to our customers.”
As Universal Trade Frames’ customers know, strong service support and an impressive product range are just the starting point. Customers also benefit from the company’s partnership approach and commitment to excellence that adds value to an installer’s business.
Duncan concludes: “Not only is our product range comprehensive, but we also make sure that all other areas of our business measure up too. Customer service, technical support, quality products and high OTIF deliveries are all part of our business model. Life is complicated enough and our policy of being a straightforward, easy to deal with company is one of the biggest reasons why so many of our customers are loyal and have been with us for many years.”
Overall, it’s an impressive package that explains why Universal Trade Frames is a longstanding, successful fabricator committed to delivering for their customers.< Back to News Page
