Closed-loop recycling
Epwin has invested millions of pounds to create the UK's largest and most advanced
PVC-U recycling plant, capable of processing both post industrial and post consumer
PVC-U materials.
Given that research shows that each PVC-U product can be recycled over 10 times
and still maintain performance. The material can have a total life span of 350 years,
making it one of the most sustainable materials available to the construction industry.
Epwin is leading the way in bringing the recycled material back to life through
a variety of products from skinned recycled cills and window profile through to
energy efficient reinforcements and rainwater products.
Once reprocessed the PVC-U materials are used within the group’s facilities closing
the loop on the recycling process.
