Integrated Management System Policy
The Epwin Group business units trading as SBP Ltd specialises in the design, manufacture
and supply of maintenance-free building products. Through subsidiary businesses
comprising of merchants, plastics stockists, window, door, and conservatory fabricators
and installers, it services the new build sector, maintenance and improvement sectors
of the private and social housing markets, and the commercial building sector.
The Board of Directors of the Epwin Group are committed to continual improvement
in the quality of its services and products, the health, safety and welfare of its
employees, and in the reduction of its environmental impacts and carbon footprint
at all levels within the Group. This is achieved through the setting of objectives
and targets and through implementation of the improvement cycle.
To meet this commitment a Director is appointed who will be accountable to the Board
for the overall implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS) in each
business unit. Localised business Managers will ensure the implementation of organisational
arrangements for their businesses own IMS. This IMS meets, and where possible exceeds,
the requirements of the International Standards BS EN ISO 9001:2008 (Quality), BS
EN ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental) and the British Standard BS OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational
Health and Safety). All employees are made aware of their responsibilities in meeting
the requirements of the IMS through the provision of appropriate training.
This policy is reviewed on an annual basis. The Epwin Group continually reviews
the suitability of its systems, procedures and technological advances in conjunction
with its customer demands and expectations. The Epwin Group establish and review
Safety, Quality and Environmental objectives in order to seek continuous improvement
in its business performance
